A Little Lady {Audrey is One}

Audrey is the perfect mix of her parents. She is a little lady like her mother, and I think she is going to be super smart like her dad. She is still very petite, and is working on the whole standing and walking thing, but I know she will be running all over the house pretty soon, causing lots of trouble! Watching her grow from a bun in the oven to three, six, nine and twelve months has been so amazing. I am sad that we have finished our Belly To Baby First Year Series, but know that her mum and I are now friends and I will still get to watch Audrey grow.

My favorite things about Audrey:

Her fashion sense – good job mum!
Her big brown eyes
Her giggle – makes me giggle thinking about it
Her expressions – even when she is not smiling she has the best expressions
Most of all the fact that I get to be her photographer!

Thursday’s Wedding {Jamie and Taylor}

What can I say about the Williams and Price families? Well, they are pretty much some of the nicest people I have met. They make everyone feel like family. After having know Taylor for a couple of years and being able to capture the proposal and the engagement session I was eager to finish out the full hand and capture the wedding images. It was a beautiful warm October day and all 72 members (really 23 and a few children!) of the bridal party looked amazing. And Jamie…the most beautiful of them all. Not only was her dress amazing, but she was really relaxed and glowing all throughout the day. The ceremony at St Bede’s was flawless and Jamie’s dad made an appearance to officiate part of the ceremony.

The reception was at The La Cañada Thursday Club, a place with close family ties. Taylor’s grandmother used to be a member there and has a bench dedicated to her outside in the little front courtyard. The whole place was beautifully decorated by Jennifer from An Unforgettable Occasion, with the color Jamie chose that went perfectly with everything, and one of my favorite colors, purple! The cocktails were delicious, so I was told! They looked amazing so that works for me! And the food was delicious too. I think two of the best parts for me of the night were the speeches by the two best men and maid of honor. They really know and love both Jamie and Taylor and seeing that was really special. And then I think the best part was the dancing. Wow. I don’t know what to say about the dancing other than there was some stuff I had not seen before, and I have seen a lot of wedding dancing! These families really know how to party!

This was a great way for me to round up my 2011 weddings, and as they say, we saved the best ’till last. Congratulations Jamie and Taylor and I look forward to the next family event!

A Cheeky Holiday {Kayla}

Little Kayla has her parents, especially Dad, wrapped around her little finger! And quite rightly, too. She has these huge blue eyes and a lot of funny faces in her repertoire. She is just learning to sit so I used my magic powers to help her become an expert in sitting, and we captured some amazing images of her cheeky face…and her other cute cheeks too!

Baby Blue Eyes {Emma’s 1 Year Session}

Ummm…so cutest baby in the world or what?????? I have had such pleasure watching Emma grow up over the last year with our newborn and six month sessions as part of my Belly to baby Collections. Every time I see her she just gets cuter! Those big bay blues get me every time. It was really cool to see her walking and with hair too! She was very well behaved for the session and mum, dad and grandma where excellent helpers with the singing and dancing and clapping portion of the session.

As always, with Emma, these are my new favorite images and I can’t wait to put together her 1 year collage with all her best images. She will have a portfolio better than most catwalk models by the time she is 2!

This is a hard post to write as there is so much to say! I loved this wedding. The people, the location, the design, the friends, the dress, the atmosphere, everything! We had so many images from this one it was hard to choose. Even harder when the bride is also a photographer and a friend. No pressure! LOL

One of my favorites from this year and I can’t wait to start designing the album! Its going to be a real storybook. Thanks, Ali, for asking me to capture such a special day in your life. It means a lot.

The New Hepburn {Audrey at 9 Months}

This is Audrey’s third session with us and she is now nine months old. We had great fun at both her three and six month sessions and I was really looking forward to these ones now that she can sit up better. Of course sitting up better leads to crawling and she was all over the place! I managed to get a few shots off before Mum had to run back in and put her back on her place. We were working hard to keep her in one place, and smiling, for this session. It was a workout for Mum and me. I was so overjoyed when at the end of the session she gave us some massive giggles for about 2 minutes. I think you will agree that even when not giggling she is adorable and I just know that her one year session is going to be a blast.

Malibu Love {Maile and Justin’s Wedding}

You can just see the love that was around at this wedding without even having been there. I am so happy for both Maile and Justin and look forward to spending many more special events like this with them both! Love you!

A Walk In The Park {Sara and Peter’s Wedding}

What a perfect day for a wedding May 21st was. The sun was shining, the bird singing and all the family gathered around. I am in love with this slideshow and it was one of the hardest ones for me to produce as there were so many images that I felt needed to be included, and only space for 150! My first selection just for the slideshow came to almost 300! I think I managed to narrow it down pretty well and am really happy with the resulting image and music combination.

So to all the family that were present thanks for letting me stalk you with my camera for the day’ and to Sara and Peter, I am soooo happy for you and can’t wait to start designing the album!

Umm…so I was dying whilst editing these images of 6 month old Audrey. Just dying at how freakin’ cute she is! Seriously love these images and am already looking forward to seeing Audrey again for her 9 month old images has part of her Belly to Baby First Year Series.

I know I don’t have much to say on these, but it’s because they speak for themselves
